Those are good tips. Thank you. However, with the personal picture on the web page . . . I wonder. I hate to play the “race card”, but I don’t see a great deal (if any) websites with pictures of African Americans as the owner/CEO of the business. I don’t know if that would be a good idea for me to put a headshot on my site. I don’t know how much trust that would garner for me. I can use the McAfee tip; but don’t they want you to purchase something such as their anti-virus software?
Hi Roger,
Interesting tip. I’ve always thought trust shields were great ideas.
When I went to do this for my site, I was able to get it confirmed that I own it, but haven’t seen where to get the trust shield to place on the site. I own 37 Adwords Secrets, but can’t find any specific information about this particular shield there.
Any help you can give on this?
Thanks,
Bruce
THANK YOU
@Caroline
Hello Caroline. The race issue doesn’t seem to hurt two of the biggest internet marketers out there;
Willie Crawford; http://williecrawford.com/blog2 and
Greg Cesar; http://www.adwordsdomination.com
But as with everything, you likely should test it and compare results with/without photo.
Regarding McAfee – no you definitely DON’T have to buy anything to get that rating.

There’s Bruce. There’s a wonderful and useful thing to marketers, called ‘screen capture’. As long as you are not violating any laws, terms of service or being untruthful, we should feel free to use it.
