I often use document and PDF sharing sites such as Docstoc.com , Scribd.com , Calameo.com and Slideshare.com to share information with my subscribers and attract traffic. If you choose your keywords carefully it’s often easy to rank extremely high in Google and other search engines. Why?

Because the Google ‘bots are hanging around these respected sites …just waiting for new content to come along they can spider and rank. Surprisingly, it can take as little as 2 minutes to get a page 1 ranking in Google for a PDF document you just uploaded.

This is good, because these document sharing sites allow you to place affiliate and other links inside your documents, wherever you wish.

The key is to use the right keywords and tags to get where you want to be. I just watched a new video showing you how to take a Word document, convert it to PDF free of charge, then use a special free tool to insert metatags into the PDF to get it ranked even higher.

One of the best guys I know for these tactics is Marc Dulisse. Mark has just released three free squeeze page templates. These squeeze page templates cost you nothing to download and are some of the cleanest designs I’ve seen. They are Google friendly because they contain links for you to enter the elements Google requires on such a web page.

Says Mark;

Your squeeze page will be ultra specific. Therefore, if your squeeze page is on “How To Grow Your List,” and you offer them a free report on ‘list building,’ and a person subscribes, then you know this person wants more information on how to build a list. Simple enough!

This is where your backend offer comes in. On your “Thank You For Subscribing” page, show them the tools, resources, and strategies to help them build their list. It can be an affiliate offer, or a product you personally have created.

Okay, here is a real treat for you. I wish I had this when I first started out.

Here’s how you can use short videos to convert a click to a sale. I just placed this video on my Facebook Ad Tactics blog. It’s a simple, 52-second video it took me 15-minutes to make, involves mostly text, music and a tiny bit of editing.

This video converts opt-ins to sales at a rate of around 42%. That’s HUGE. Now, the traffic I send to the video is targeted (and also free – as it’s from SEO – left side of the page).

Take a look at the video and you can see how I’m using it to get sales. Also, you might want to note the use of the auto-redirect feature (I set that up using Camtasia Studio when I made the video), and the use of Traffic Regenerator if someone makes a movement to exit the video before it finishes.
